Pass Happy/Run Happy - Week 13

Pass Happy

New Orleans Saints (vs. DET):  You guys, Drew Brees is 37 years old and is just throwing darts around.  It's insane.  He threw for another 300+ and 4 scores against the Rams, who where supposed to be an aggressive defense that could give him fits.  The Lions are on the docket this week and while they boast a top-10 ranking against WRs, they somehow give up the 8th-most points to QBs.  They can't cover the opposing TE worth a lick.  Expect Brees to have a field day, Coby Fleener to excel, and for the WRs to all score well.  Start 'em if you got 'em.  Solid Starts:  Brees, Fleener and Michael Thomas  Good Starts:  Brandin Cooks and Willie Snead

San Diego Chargers (vs. TBB):  If there's a more underrated fantasy QB than Philip Rivers, I dunno who it is.  The guy, regardless of who he has to throw to, just puts up awesome fantasy stats week in and week out.  He has thrown for no less than 2 TDs since Week 7 (when he threw for 371 yards and 1 score in Atlanta).    He has 5 300+ yard games and only 4 times has he not thrown for multiple scores.  Tampa's been fairly good against the pass the past few games but faced the Niners, Chiefs and Seahawks.  Three teams that don't traditionally air it out.  Rivers is a fantastic start but everyone else related to the passing game comes with some risk.  Flip a coin for which TE will have the better game.  Both Hunter Henry and Antonio Gates will produce.... albeit how much is the question.  Dontrelle Inman and Tyrell Williams should both be startable.  If Williams is out, Inman's production leaps and he becomes a solid start.  Solid Start:  Rivers  Good Starts:  Inman, Williams, Henry, Gates

Run Happy

Buffalo Bills (@OAK):  Not much in the way of sure-fire 100+ yard rushers this week.  LeSean McCoy, even with his newly-repaired left thumb, put up 100+ last week and has a chance to do so again here against the Raiders.  The Raiders aren't great against the run and typically let the opposing offense's #1 guy produce.  Mike Gillislee is back but will only be in to spell McCoy.  Expect Rex Ryan to try and control this game with the defense and run game, keeping the Oakland offense off of the field as much as possible.  McCoy should approach or surpass 100 yards this week and score.  Solid Start:  McCoy  Back, but Bench Him:  Gillislee

Chicago Bears (vs. SFO): Just going off raw stats here, folks.  The Niners allow the most fantasy production to RBs, and the Bears are starting a rag-tag group at QB/WR.  They were somehow impressive last week, but regression to the mean here is very likely.  That said, we expect Jordan Howard to get force-fed the ball, possibly resulting in solid rushing totals.  Solid Start:  Howard
