4 Star Free Agents - Week 12

Mr. 4-Star has the week off, so the Number Cruncher took a quick look at his Yahoo! leagues to see what kind of free agent pickups will be the talk of the town for Week 12.  Let's go!

Sam Bradford (@DET):  The matchup in the dome against the Lions should be excellent for Bradford and the Viking passing game.  The early Turkey Day game will likely have a good bit of scoring and passing.  Bradford is only owned in 12% of Yahoo leagues so he's likely available in most 12-team leagues.  We like 250/2 out of him come Thursday.

Joe Flacco (vs. CIN): Expect the Ravens to take out their aggressions on the Bengals, who just lost two of their best offensive weapons.  Flacco had a respectable 269/1 line against the Cowboys this past week.  That looks to be his floor, with 275/2 being more in line with our expectations.  Owned in 26% of Yahoo leagues, Flacco should be one of the better streaming QBs for Week 12.

Running Backs

Mike Gillislee ( vs. JAC):  LeSean McCoy will have surgery on his dislocated thumb and even if he's back for Sunday's matchup, they may not even need him against the Jags.  Gillislee has been a very solid fill-in, and is available in 75% of Yahoo leagues right now.

Alex Collins (@TBB):  This should be an easy win for the Seahags, despite having to travel ALLLLL the way to Tampa Bay.  C.J. Prosise is done, Thomas Rawls is "banged up", and if Seattle gets a big lead, they could turn to Collins, a big banger of a back in the LeGarrette Blount mode who could chew up plenty of time on the clock.  A dice roll for sure, but he's available in all Yahoo leagues at this point.

Wide Receivers

Niner WRs (Kerley and Patton):  Really, flip a coin here.  Kerley had 6 targets this past week, and caught nary a ball.  His targets remain constant, though.  Patton had 5, after consecutive weeks of 9 targets/each.  Both should be decent plays in Miami this coming week.  Both are widely available in Yahoo PPR leagues.

Tajae Sharpe (@CHI):  Don't look now, but the Titan rookie is getting some looks again.  He's got back-to-back 68/1 lines and has a great matchup in Chicago this week.  Only owned in 12% of Yahoo leagues.  He comes with some risk, but with that risk comes great upside.
