Pass Happy

Minneosta (vs. DET):  Gone is OC Norv Turner, which could open things up for the Viking passing game.  Turner and HC Mike Zimmer got into a pissing match this morning, resulting in Turner's departure.  Not to worry; Fritz Shurmur, who's worked with Sam Bradford for quite awhile, takes the reins and will be able to get this offense back moving the ball again.  What better way to test out the new offensive playcalling than against Detroit, who gives up the 2nd-most fantasy points to QBs.  Turner always got the most out of his TEs, which may mean Kyle Rudolph regresses eventually, but not this week.  DET gives up the most points of any defense to opposing TEs.  Solid Starts:  Bradford, Rudolph  Good Start:  Stefon Diggs  Deep PPR League Dice Rolls:  Adam Thielen, Cordarrelle Patterson

Cleveland (vs. DAL):  This will be one of those games where the home team is down 3 scores at half and comes out throwing the ball 30 times in the 2nd half.  For that reason alone, Josh McCown is a solid start.  Heck, if the game is somehow close, it will mean that McCown has led his team to scores, possibly resulting in solid passing stats regardless. The Cowboys are beat up in the secondary and McCown, a savvy vet, will take advantage.  Solid Starts:  McCown, Terrelle Pryor   Good Starts:  Corey Coleman, Gary Barnidge

Dallas (@CLE):  Think Zeke Elliott wants to put on a show in Ohio?  Sure.  Cleveland's D will be working in a new LB (Jamie Collins) and has already given up the 4th-most points to RBs.  Expect Elliott to once again top 100 yards in his quest for various rookie and team records.  If this gets out of hand, you might see a little bit of Alfred Morris in the latter parts of the game.  If you're a gambler and think Morris gets enough run to matter, he's an OK flex play this week.  He should get double digits in PPR formats.  Solid Start:  Elliott  PPR Gamble:  Morris

Tennessee (@SDC):  A former Cowboy will also get good run this weekend.  DeMarco Murray should have a field day in sunny San Diego, who's missing a ton of key players on their line.  Only one other defense yields more fantasy points to RBs than the Chargers.  Expect a heavy dose of Murray, and Derrick Henry could be used in flex spots for the desperate fantasy owners.  Solid Start:  Murray  Dice Roll:  Henry
