Armchair Quarterback - Week 2
Holy smokes, talk about an ugly Week 2.  Obviously the talk right now is the major losses at the RB position.  We would be remiss to not delve into this as it will be a major swing for those that suffered losses and/or those needing to pick up productive RBs leading into Week 3.  Let's take a look at some of the affected RBs, in terms of yin and yang(s) (loss and adds).

Yin:  Arian Foster (MIA):  Yangs:  Jay Ajayi and Kenyan Drake (MIA)

No, really?  Foster injured?  Kinda feel for the guy.  Dude just can't stay healthy.  Ever.  Most likely, Ajayi will pick up the slack but he's been seriously unimpressive over the past few months.  If Drake is even slightly impressive it could be a 50/50 split until Foster returns.
Yin:  Ameer Abdullah (DET)  Yangs:  Theo Riddick and Dwayne Washington (DET)

Ameer Abdullah was in a walking boot yesterday and while it appears that he avoided any serious damage, we'd be shocked if he played in Week 3.  Theo Riddick will step up as the #1, but is likely gone in all leagues of consequence.  The add here is Washington, who looked great in preseason.  Now's his chance to really make a splash.

Yin:  Jonathan Stewart (CAR):  Yangs:  Fozzy Whittaker and Cameron Artis-Payne

Like Foster, J-Stew has had trouble keeping off the trainer's table.  The team does have some concern about Stewart, who's nursing hammy and ankle issues now.  Whittaker was excellent in relief Sunday, but the team will likely give carries to the larger Artis-Payne, especially in shorter-yardage situations.  Whittaker is the better fantasy add, though... especially in PPR.

Yin:  Doug Martin (TBB)  Yang:  Charles Sims (TBB)

Martin tweaked his hammy and MAY have been able to ride it out yesterday if the game were not a blowout.  Still, hammy injuries are no joke, especially to RBs.  There's a decent chance Martin sits Week 3, in which case Sims' usage would go through the roof.  Tough sledding against the Rams' front 7 but Sims' production would be enhanced in PPR formats.

Yin:  Danny Woodhead (SDC):  Yangs:  Melvin Gordon, Kenneth Farrow (SDC)

Woodhead was off to another blazing start in PPR formats before he injured his knee.  The severity of said injury is still to be determined, but at minimum we'd expect he misses Week 3.  Gordon would see an uptick in usage and rookie Farrow could spell him on passing downs.  Likely nothing to see here, unless Woodhead's injury is more severe than just a weekly deal.

Yin:  Adrian Peterson (MIN)  Yangs:  Jerick McKinnon, Matt Asiata (MIN)

And in probably the biggest injury news of the week, Adrian Peterson is apparently dealing with some ligament damage in his right knee.  From what it looked like, he hurt his ankle last night but the team is reporting it's a knee.  And somehow, they're not all too concerned and think he could potentially be back in Week 3.  I'm not doctor but that sounds absolutely crazy.  Asiata could see short yardage work and could actually be the "starter", but McKinnon has the most upside out of the pair.  This could be a 2-3 week situation.
