Pass Happy

NOS @NYG:  Remember the last time these teams faced off?  Yeah, Drew Brees threw for 505 yards and 7 TDs.  That's like two games for some QBs.  So, start Brees and pretty much anyone that catches balls from him.  The Giants continue to struggle covering TEs so expect Coby Fleener to get into the mix this week.  On the other side, Eli Manning threw for 6 TDs against the Saints last year.  Not expecting that many fireworks but still, start 'em if you got 'em.  Solid Starts:  Brees, Manning, Brandin Cooks, OBJ  Good Starts:  Willie Snead, Michael Thomas, Fleener, Sterling Shepard (ppr)  Worth a Shot:  Victor Cruz

Arizona (vs. TBB):  The Bucs made Matt Ryan look like his old self last week.  Expect Carson Palmer to have a lot more time to throw and more passing lanes this week than he did against the rocket scientist defensive coordinator the Pats come with.  Despite Jermaine Gresham looking busier than any Cardinal TE in recent memory, he's still not worth a start.  The WRs, however, are a different story. Solid Start:  Palmer  Good Starts:  Larry Fitzgerald and Michael Floyd

Run Happy

Houston (vs. KCC):  Only one RB topped 100 rushing yards last week:  Lamar Miller.  Good chance he repeats that feat this week when the Texans face the Chiefs.  Expecting a lower-scoring affair with both teams trying to control the game with their defense and run game.  Chargers RB Danny Woodhead managed 89 rushing yards on the Chiefs last week.  Imagine what a "real" RB like Miller could do. Quick note... there's no RBBC here or even a decent PPR option off the bench here.  One of the true "workhorse back" situations in the NFL.  Solid Start:  Miller

Denver (vs. IND):  For now it looks like C.J. Anderson is another "workhorse back".  With the release of Ronnie Hillman, only rookie Devontae Booker represents a real threat for looks.  And at present he's not ready for prime time.  The Colts let the Lions run roughshod on them last week; expect Anderson to top 100 yards and score this week.  Solid Start:  Anderson
